AV2ERP · Autodesk Vault add-in
Right-click a released assembly in Autodesk Vault and AV2ERP creates it in Odoo: the products, the bills of materials and every line, with the picture, the drawing and a link back to Vault. The ERP tabs in Vault then show what Odoo holds, so a difference stands out before anyone orders the wrong part.
Vault and Odoo
Every released design in Autodesk Vault has to become products and a bill of materials in Odoo. Typed in by hand, that is slow and easy to get wrong, and at the next change the two systems drift apart.
AV2ERP connects the two inside Vault. A field mapping decides which Vault property fills which Odoo field, fixed values such as the product type are set once, and an optional macro holds the rules that go further.

The engine assembly is sent all levels, its products and bill of materials are opened in Odoo with their pictures and files, a routing operation is created, a changed quantity is caught in Vault and the assistant previews a Can be Purchased rule.
How it works
Send
Select the assembly in Vault, right-click and choose AV2ERP > Send to Odoo all levels. AV2ERP reads the item and its complete bill of materials from Vault, applies your rules and creates everything in Odoo: the products, the bills of materials and every line on them.
Result in Odoo
In Odoo the products are there with their numbers as internal reference and their names from Vault. The bill of materials of the engine assembly lists all eight components with their quantities: the same structure as in Vault.
Files and links
The design travels with the product. The Vault thumbnail becomes the product's picture in Odoo, the drawing PDF is attached, and a link opens the item straight back in Vault.
Additional actions
Additional actions add whatever else your process needs. Right-click the assembly and choose Create routing: AV2ERP shows the operation with its work center and time, and creates it in Odoo. On the bill of materials it appears as operation Assembly, on work center Assembly 1, five minutes.
Check in Vault
The ERP Item Details tab shows the product live from Odoo, and the ERP Data tab puts Vault and Odoo side by side, with a green check on every line that agrees.
In the demo the cap screw's quantity has since changed in Vault to three, while Odoo still has two, so that cell is red, before anyone orders the wrong part.
As of a date
Odoo keeps one current bill of materials, so Vault's structure on the date you pick is compared with today's bill of materials in Odoo; the tab says so next to the date. On 30 September, before the quantity changed, everything matched. On 1 October the changed line stands out in red.
Set up once
What goes where is set up once: which Vault property fills which Odoo field, such as the number into the internal reference and the title into the name, and fixed values like the product type.
Rules and AI
Describe a rule in plain words: screws, rings and pins are bought, so tick Can be Purchased for them and untick it for everything else. The AI looks up what it needs in Vault and Odoo, asks for your approval before it changes the macro, writes the rule, checks that it compiles and previews the result on the real assembly.
Questions and search
Asked whether the component quantities match Odoo, the assistant reads the bill of materials in Vault and the live rows in Odoo and answers: seven of the eight components match, only the cap screw differs, three in Vault and two in Odoo.
It searches for you too: the Vault items with Engine in the title and whether they exist in Odoo, in one table, or whether any Vault jobs failed in the last seven days.
The assistant works with your own key for Claude, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI or a compatible model, with a ChatGPT sign-in, with a coding agent such as Claude or Gemini, or with your own assistant through the MCP connector. Whatever it proposes, nothing is changed until you approve it.

Send to Odoo all levels creates or updates a product for every item in the Vault bill of materials, and a bill of materials with its components for the assembly and each sub-assembly. The Vault thumbnail becomes the product picture, the drawing PDF is attached and a link opens the item in Vault.
Yes, as an additional action. Create routing shows the operation, work center and time for the assembly, and writes it as an operation on the bill of materials in Odoo. Other additional actions are configured the same way.
Yes, from the source side. Odoo keeps one current bill of materials, without validity dates, so the ERP Data tab compares the structure as it was on the date you pick with today's bill of materials in Odoo, and says so on screen. ERPs with dated BOMs, such as Business Central, compare both sides on that date.
A fixed value can be set once in the field mapping. When it depends on the part, a macro decides, for example ticked for screws, rings and pins and unticked for the rest. The AI Macro Generator writes and compiles that macro from a plain-language request and previews it before anything is sent.
